Children are the future of a nation. For an emerging and developing country like India, development of underprivileged children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself.
The Centre is run by a qualified teacher who will pass onto the women and girls the essential skills and confidence needed in order for them to produce good quality clothes for the people of their community as well as themselves. AIMYM intention is to encourage in them a passion to be self reliant and become entrepreneurs with the range of skills and education given to them, enabling them to support themselves and their families.
On a regular basis material is provided to the women and girls in order for them to complete their training over a 6 month period, following which they are ready to start sewing for customers at market rates.
This cycle is repeated every 6 months with women and girls who qualify under AIMYM guidelines to undertake this training.
The Hunar was launched by Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar on July 2, 2008 for providing vocational training to Muslim girls in the state.In the first phase about 12,000 Muslim girl students were aimed to get vocational training, while the second phase over 50,000 students would benefit from it. |
