 All India Muslim Youth Majlis is running a Fruit Tree Planting Project since 2009 which aims to help the most vulnerable around the country, enhance our urban and rural landscape. This project is truly unique in that it enables our donors to help disadvantaged households with a source of shade, nourishment and potential income with the obvious added benefit to the environment as well.
All India Muslim Youth Majlis is a nonprofit charity dedicated to planting edible, fruitful trees and plants to benefit the environment and all its inhabitants. Our primary mission is to plant and help others plant a million of fruit trees across the country (approximately one for every person alive) and encourage their growth under organic standards.
AIMYM provides support, resources, and guidance for those interested in planting fruit trees and spearheads a variety of planting programs. These programs are aimed at enriching the environment, providing nutritious food sources for wild and rescued animals, and improving human health by bringing delicious, fresh, locally grown raw fruits and vegetables of the highest quality into the lives of all people.
AIMYM also seeks to secure land throughout the world with the sole purpose restoring native plant ecosystems with an abundance of fruit trees and plants that benefit the surrounding air, water, and soil and provide food sources for wild animals.
A GREENER WORLD FOR A BETTER TOMORROW MADE POSSIBLE
We consider this wonderful project as ground-breaking in that it involves the beneficiary’s participation throughout the lifetime of the project and is a source of hope for a better future for them.
Each beneficiary is trained in how to nurture their Fruit Tree sapling (a few minutes of timely care a day for the first 5 years) to receive maximum benefit ultimately, when it bears fruit.
As long as the Fruit Tree grows it benefits the beneficiary and provides satisfaction to the donor that he/she has provided support in order to improve the quality of air and water while creating a source of tasty snacks for decades to come.
AIMYM can help you plant Fruit Trees which bear fruits such as apples, apricots and dates.
Each Fruit Tree costs only $25 to plant in India, which is less than what most children from the western world spend on sweets per week.* AIMYM provides one tree per poor family or 20-25 trees to a community.
